Here are some handy tricks for your base
1. Infinite watersource

With this piese of Minecraft physiks you have an infinite amount of water for you concearn. If you remove a block it will refill itself  (but don`t do it to rapidly).

2. Cobblestone generator

Lava flowing to water changes to cobblestone. With this desing you can get enough cobble for the rest of your life. But water flowing to lava changes to obsidian, so make shure you dig an extra hole to prevent that.

3. Tree farm

Leaves without a trunk will leave saplings. If you plant them somewhere else they will grow a tree after a while. This way you don`t need to go to the forrest every time you want some timber (you can).

4. Cow farm

Cows are in general the most usefull animals in Minecraft  (in my oppinion). There meat gives back the most hunger, you can make armor of their leather and their milk removes bad effects. So it`s always handy to keep some of those around.

5. Almost automatic harvester

For this desing you need redstone. Sorround a block of water with fences and a piston and plase fences around the stream that comes out of it. In this area you can start plowing. If your wheat is fully grown you just have to pull the switch and everything falls on the ground.

And now for your home

6. House at a canal

Use fenses and a canal to keep monsters from your door. If you let the canal flow to a specific point you can even use it as a monster farm.

Survival tips for dummies

Here are a few tips that can help you in your survival world

(Warning. Big chanse that you know these tips. These are just for starters or inspiration. But please look if there is something new in there.)

I`ll start with a few simple rules.

  1. Make as first tool  wodden pickaxe. That way you can inmediately change to stone.

  2. Never dig straight down. This is rule number one, but I`m making it number two. Reason: Lava and ravines.

  3. Never dig straight up unless you have an iron or diamond shovel. Reason: Sand, gravel and again lava.

  4. If you found diamonds. Dig around it to make sure there is no lava.

  5. Make the corners of a nether portal of a diffrend material. You will save obsidian.

  6. If a creeper explodes. Block it with your sword. You will reduse most of the damage.

  7. If you don`t want zombies breaking into your house. Replase your door with two fencegates. They can`t break those.

  8. A pumpkin on your head will make endermen ignore you.

  9. Water hurts endermen. Handy for around your house.

  10. Put you most valubale belongings in an ender chest. Only you can acces it.

  11. Only need a bit of foor. Eat rotten flesh and stand still. It should give you drumsticks.

  12. Try to always bring torches, block and water whe you go mining.
